From our first food truck to our restaurant on Beneva Road, Tacos El Costeño brings Mexican flavor and a warm welcome to Sarasota.
THE BEGINNING
It Started with a Food Truck.
Founded by Adolfo Camarillo, Tacos El Costeño began as a food truck in Sarasota with a simple vision: share the Mexican food he loved with the local community.
As guests kept coming back for their favorites, that vision grew. In 2024, we opened our restaurant at 5769 S Beneva Road, creating a place to sit down, gather, and explore more of our Mexican kitchen.
Today, our restaurant and Southgate food truck offer two ways to enjoy El Costeño—whether you’re stopping for tacos or sharing a meal with family and friends.
